Wurstelstand LEO ist Vienna’s first sausage stand.
The Wurstelstand LEO (sausage stand) is Vienna’s oldest Wurstelstand. Founded 1928 by Leopold Mlynek senior in Vienna. Among the guests was also the legendary Austrian Federal Chancellor Bruno Kreisky. Vera Tondl, the granddaughter of Leopold Mlynek sen., is in charge of the Wurstelstand since 1991. She built a new stand in 1997 in the bright colours white and turquoise. Until today Wurstelstand LEO is a very popular venue by day and night!
Especially in demand : the legendary Cheese Krainer sausage, namely the giant cheese Krainer – the BIG MAMA! see you soon!
